A somber atmosphere filled the generally positive a receptive area of the Dilithium Chamber. Unfortunately, sorrow and tragedy had replaced the celebratory spirit that typically thrived. The funeral for the young boy that was killed by Yolanthe inside of "The Box of Delights" had brought humans from all across the station to pay their condolences and final respects to a boy that many never knew.

Unfortunately, the only family that Jelron had was his younger brother Seth. A younger brother who had been forced to face the world alone due to the loss of his brother. Seth did not say much during the ceremony. He typically stayed near the his elder benefactor, Melvyn Raddon, as the others took care of organizing the funeral and facilitating the actual event.

Melvyn had taken the boy under his wing and had provided him with a home after the tragedy had happened. Melvyn had even advocated on the boy's behalf with Station Security regarding the investigation of his brothers death. Unfortunately, the Federation Security detachment had determined that they would rather allow a murder to go unpunished rather than risk angering a well-established business owner.

At the end of the room stood Raymond Raddon, watching as the various guests filtered into the large area and took their seats. Although he carried a very somber appearance, inside he felt seething rage towards the tragedy and the complete lack of consideration that the Federation had shown to this young boy. They had tried to seek support from Security, but they were merely brushed aside and told to seek a civil remedy, as if such a thing would do anything to deter the Bokkai from taking another innocent life.

However, the rage building inside of Raymond was not uncontrolled. As he looked across the room he locked eyes with the company's security consultant, Dorian Gabriel. The former Chief of Station Security understood that Humanity's basic rights and freedoms were being chipped away at every single turn. The aliens that wished to subjugate them would never go for a direct attack, instead they would perform more invidious actions: removing Humans from positions of authority, attacking the young and defenseless just to show how little power the Humans actually had. Dorian, just like Raymond, understood that things were not as they appeared and that something had to be done.

Raymond gave Dorian a subtle, but knowing nod as he turned and began to address the gathered audience and begin the funeral. Although he spoke in positive and uplifting tones towards the audience, in his mind, Raymond was fully aware:

"....something was going to happen"
