The Commodore and Commander had left and Lasuma and Sha'rae returned to his office. "Is the contract finalized for the purchase of the Box?"
"All set."
"Does Dorian know....Stupid question. How did he take it?"
"He want to take the second yacht and take her to Risa for a farewell surprise."
Lasuma smirked at the irony Yolanthe was getting exactly what she had asked for and he got to keep his word. "Well as long as he cleans it up when he's done with it."
Sha'rae shook her head, "Oh didn't need that image in my head...Thank you sooo much."
Lasuama chuckled at the reaction and his eyebrows arched.
"You'll need a new bodyguard while he's off on his little jaunt. Should I see if Wolfe is available?"
Leaning back he thought, Gregory Wolfe usually filled in for Dorian when needed and had always been reliable. "Sure. Oh! Did the freighter orders get submitted."
Sha'rae laughed. "Oh yeah. I sent that off last week. The lady I was dealing with, Kriri, was speechless when I told her what we wanted."
"Kriri? Why is that name familiar?"
Sha'rae handed him a padd with her...skill sets.
[One week earlier - Roberts Space Industries]
Kriri looked at the order that she had taken and it was her saving grace. The last 'function' she had attended had nearly exposed her past. She new there was a risk that the high end sale of ships would bring here face to face with the very people she was trying to get away from but there were few legit opportunities to make a lot of latinum without having to...well...do what she used to do.
Taking her tablet she tapped it on the frame as she poked her head into the VP's office. "Excuse me sir. "I have a order her that I need to prioritize and you need to sign off on."
He didn't even look up as he waved her in. "Who thinks the so special this time that they can get their order before everyone else..."
"Oh he didn't request prioritization. But given the order and the customers history I did it flagged it myself."
"Oh really did you? What are they wanting?
Glancing to the order she read it off. "Nine Tauras and seven Hercules heavy freighters, twelve Caterpillar and fourteen freelance medium freighters. Oh and a warrantee replacement on an 85x. Multiple delivery points and..."
Having stood at the beginning he stood their in disbelief. "That can't be legit..."
"Thirty percent has already been paid the balance due upon each delivery."
"Some starbase..."
"No. Lasuma Enterprises."
"Ahhh. Well this will not only make our quarter but the whole years...and your commission will be considerable." Had she not already closed and gotten the initial payment he would have maneuvered himself into the final sale. He was still going to get a sizable bonus but the furball was going to get all the glory.
"Bump him to the front of the line. How many delivery points?"
"Six. His headquarters on Bajor, his location at Deep Space 5, Regulas, Castal, Pacifica, and Yadalla."
"Easy enough, Well see to it."

Geral looked over the communique from RSI with the delivery dates for the the various ship classes and destinations. Word had already gone out to his pilots. Those that owned their ships had several options; keep their old ship and expand, trade up and repay the difference, or sell their current ship and operate as a direct employee instead of a contracted carrier. The rest would simply transfer operation to their new vessels and the RSI rep would collect the old freighter as a trade-in.
He could see that Sha'rae had already updated his calendar with the delivery date. He made an update to let the XO know about the pending arrivals as not to interfere with other scheduled traffic.
After all the official stuff was out of the way he noted that Kriri, the saleswoman from RSI would be making the DS5 delivery personally. Interesting...
