View Award - Exemplary Courage Medal
Officers who put themselves in grave danger by going far beyond the normal call of duty qualify for this medal.
Examples would be protecting a group of trapped/injured persons from enemy aggression; staying behind to ensure that the rest of the unit gets to safety and are not followed. NOTE: To achieve this award, the person nominated cannot simply be following their superior`s orders. They must volunteer to carry out such acts. Sample posts are required.

I feel that threatening to relieve Captain Soran of duty should she leave counseling, fits the description and spirit of "Officers who put themselves in grave danger by going far beyond the normal call of duty qualify for this medal." :) |

For the rescue of a downed aircrew on the planet Pangaea, which at the time was still a dangerous and unknown place. The resulting JP was very detailed, took weeks to finish, and had to be divided into three parts.
