Kyle stood in Fighter Ops reviewing flight plans and monitoring the launch for the survey mission that was about to take place. He heard the turbo lift doors swish open and looked up to see Commander Tahhk exit the lift. He pressed standby on his console and looked up again. "Commander, what can I do for you?"

Taahk got straight to the point. "Lieutenant Carter. Commander Aldrex has assigned us to run a reconnaisance in support of the exploration teams who will be going down to the surface of Pangaea. In addition to monitoring that planet we will be required to survey the system now it has stabilised."

"You're in luck. I was just about to give the all go for the survey mission launch. A squadron of Valkyries is also pre flighting for a trip to the planet." Kyle answered quickly. He tapped a few of the buttons on the console. In a second a holographic 3 image appeared above the table showing the survey flight path. "If you press that button there," Kyle said pointing out the particular button, "It'll switch over to the planetary excursion's flight path."

The Vulcan nodded and reached for the indicated button. He studied the data for a moment, a slight wrinkle creasing his brow, "I see we have not been able to counteract the interference, that will leave the ground teams vulnerable. I will perform some tests from a closer distance once we are underway."
