Finally all that portal hoohaa was over and everyone was home. Scaliontis was glad they managed to trigger the portal to open.

He stood from his desk and gathered his padds, he was on his way to inspect the Dyson shipyards next door.

The Romulan had only recalled reading about them a few days after they all got back to DS5 and went about returning to their routines.

Of course Commander Soran would have to explain to the Romulans the core was lost and probably would ask Security to improve their methods to be better prepared for any further portal mayhem.

Scaliontis was glad to not be involved in all that administrational nightmare, though he had his own organisational duties for his department.

So he left Kivan in charge, informed Commander Soran he was a subspace call away and boarded the Sydney-class personnel transport named USS Kangaroo with other shipyard personnel.

There was various projects going on there that he has to tend to and he was excited to get off Deep Space 5.
