"So... what's the goal of that... cube?"
"Well, it's more of a puzzle. There are six surfaces, and six different colors. You start the game with all the colors mixed, and you must eventually work out how to restore each surface to it's original color..."
"I can do that!" Tabora exclaimed, snatching the Rubik's cube from her older sister's hands. With both hands on the cube, she began to actually push and pull and bend the cube, rather than twisting and turning it. She began to mutter about how it was pretty much impossible to to anything with the cube. Saria observed her younger sister's struggle with mild amusement.
"...how... how do you do anything with this?" She asked Saria, visibly agitated.
Saria grinned. "You twist and turn it, sister. No need to force it."
Tabora raised her eyebrows and looked at the cube again. She twisted it left and right, turned it up and down.
"...and I always thought you so good at solving problems..." Saria teased.
"W-what?! But I am!" Tabora pouted. "Watch me, Rex!" She began to rapidly turn the different surfaces on the cube, as if she was on her way to break a new record. She paused a few times, but continued to spin the tiles to her will. After a minute or so, she rolled the cube onto the table, and sat back with her arms crossed.
"Told you so?"
Saria slowly reached for the cube, and grabbed it. She gave a good look at it, and struck a surpised expression. "...atleast you got two out of the six surfaces in the same color." She said.
Tabora held her hands on her face, and tilted her head down. "I have to admit, I'm not really up into shape lately."
"It's a start" Saria smiled, laying a hand on her sister's shoulder. "Let me show you how it's done." Saria grabbed the cube, and mixed up the colors before she began to solve it. Her sister looked up at her sister, awaiting how she would fare at this Terran puzzle.
Then, Saria began twisting and turning the cube at an incredible speed. Tabora couldn't believe her eyes as she saw the tiles of the cube matching with the color surfaces, and eventually became whole. After nine seconds, Saria threw the cube on the table as if it was a hot bread right out of the oven.
Tabora watched the cube roll towards her, completely enthralled and mouth wide open, as all the surfaces were completely solved. She picked it up and looked at all the 6 sides.
"H-how did you do that...?" She asked Saria in awe. "You did it only in a matter of... seconds!"
Saria grinned. "By having a desk job." She replied. "You gotta keep yourself entertained sometimes."

"You never put that uniform off, do you?" Tabora asked Saria, as they strolled over the promenade of Leran Manev.
"Just sometimes" Saria replied, looking up to the gulls who inhabited the beach and the promenade as well. "I feel like representing my division anytime."
"But you're only Chief of Science aboard DS5..." Tabora remarked.
"Even then, I find it important to be noticed as a Science Officer."
Tabora was a little puzzled. "Isn't a duty uniform very uncomfortable to wear all the time?"
Saria shook her head and smirked. "Only when it's... like, really tropically hot."
Tabora grinned. "I bet the hot guys would rather see you in that tropically hot clothing than in your uniform..."
"Hey!" Saria exclaimed. "What would you know about it?" She chuckled.
"Well... I just notice it here on Trillius Prime, whenever it's really hot..."
"Well well, you're a real charmeur then." Saria said. "I don't really have any intentions to attract 'hot guys'."
"Come on, Saria. I that was true, you wouldn't care that much about your look, would you?"
