Awarded for service in the command department, including departments of Command, Strategic Operations, Flight Operations, and Communications.
A player is eligible for the service badge of their department through commitment to their department over a period of time on the sim that the CO feels significant. (Each departmental badge can only be awarded once per character.)

As well as the small acts of every day service, Caleb is awarded this for having to make the hard decision to save the many by sacrificing not just the few, but likely his reputation and who knows what else is ordering the surrender of DS5 |
