We love to hate the bad guy or the sinister mind plotting against our heroes. With out these dedicated evil, twisted, or simply misguided souls setting out against our protagonists, there might not be much story to tell! (Include sample post.)

not just for Hydel Turvan, though he is without doubt the driving force, but for the whole Cardassian situation which has brought on a fun and engaging plot line. |

In Chief Inspector Sovok, Notty has created a delicious villain who has been the nemesis of the mission. He has bene evil, sadistic, and downright fun to write with. Notty plays him with a glee that is contagious. He is someone you love to hate, and he had a glorious--and fitting demise. |

Thom and Gabriel still have the best 'antagonist' field completely in the bag. The addition of Raddon and several Cardassian bad guys, not to mention the sad Trellis and his demons, just leave nothing out there that can compete nor are even needed when such talent has us completely enthralled. Love to hate the bad guy indeed but it's totally a mark of clever and talented writing to be able to keep pulling that off without compromising the credibility and effectiveness. Brilliant work, as always, still making it work and keeping us all on our toes, well done Thom. Respect. |
