The Destruction of Romulus

Didn't happen...

After the release of JJ Abrams 2009 Star Trek Movie, Obsidian Fleet took the position that New simms would follow the continuity where Romulus was destroyed, but existing simms could maket heir own decision. DS5 decided that we would ignore the JJ Abrams move's impact on cannon continuity. When we moved to Theta Fleet, we were included in the their task force with other simms that do not treat the 2009 movie and its sequels as cannon.

What this means

The Star Empire is still intact, still scheming, and still active. It still controls a large portion of the Beta Quadrant. Any Romulan characters, PC or NPC must reflect this.
